BOOKSTORE PRIVILEGE CARD
1. THE CARD
The Goodwill Bookstore Privilege Card is a discount card
issued to valued GBS clients. It entitles the holder to
special discounts on books and other selected items in all
GBS branches nationwide.
2. THE PERKS
GBS Privilege Card holders are given:

10% discount on imported trade books, mass market paperbacks,
children’s books and reference books

10% discount on local reprints or textbooks published
by Goodwill Bookstore
- 5%
discount on imported textbooks
Discounts are given only on purchases made on cash basis.
Card
privilege is non-transferable and is exclusive to the person
whose name and signature appear on the card.
3. DISCOUNT EXCLUSIONS
Discounts are not on the following instances:
a) Purchases of books on special sale,
whether Goodwill Bookstore is conducting the sale on its
own, or by special arrangement with any publisher or any
other party, such as mall management or fair organizers.
In
this case, only discounts given on suggested retail prices
(SRPs) under the special sale shall apply, whether or not
these are higher or lower than the discounts offered by
GBS Privilege Card.
b) Purchases of books using the GBS Gift
Certificates or through credit cards.
c) Purchases of publications of other publishing
houses (also known as outside publications) when these are
sold by Goodwill Bookstore. These include all publications
and local reprints of any book and other published material
by local publishers other than Goodwill Bookstore.
4. PRIVILEGE CARD APPLICATION
Goodwill Bookstore Privilege Card application forms
are available at the cashier’s counters in any GBS branch.
To avail of the card, the customer must present P3,000 worth
of GBS receipts (accumulated or single purchase) along with
his completely filled up application form to the cashier.
The customer can immediately claim his/her card and can
use it on his/her next purchase at any GBS branch nationwide.
5. CARD VALIDITY
The Goodwill Bookstore Privilege Card is valid for two (2)
years after issuance date and may be renewed upon expiry
for a minimal fee of P150. Goodwill Bookstore reserves the
right to amend any of its Privilege Card rules without prior
notice. GBS further shall have the right to cancel, modify
or restrict the privileges at any time in case the cardholder
commits any act of fraud, abuse, non-observance of terms
and conditions, or any other act prejudicial to the company.
Its failure to enforce any of the provisions shall not be
considered as a waiver of the stipulations.
