DISCOUNT MECHANICS

1.) GBS Merchant Partners are given:

10% discount on imported trade books, mass market paperbacks, children’s books
and reference books.

10% discount on local reprints or textbooks published by Goodwill Bookstore

5% discount on imported textbooks

Discounts are given only on purchases made on cash basis.

2.) DISCOUNT EXCLUSIONS

Discounts are not on the following instances:

a) Purchases of books on special sale, whether Goodwill Bookstore is conducting the sale on its own, or by special arrangement with any publisher or any other party, such as mall management or fair organizers.

In this case, only discounts given on suggested retail prices (SRPs) under the special sale shall apply, whether or not these are higher or lower than the discounts offered
by GBS .
