Responsive to the changing needs of young Filipino readers,
Goodwill Bookstore opened its first Bridges Bookstore in 2006 at the V-Mall in Greenhills, San
Juan. As the new, more vibrant face of Goodwill, Bridges Bookstore caters to a wide range of
clients - from young pre-schoolers and precocious "tweens" to the active teens and dynamic young
adults as well as to the more mature, yet hip crowd of old timers - all those who share the passion
for reading, living and sharing life's pleasures.
Just recently, Goodwill, Glorietta Branch was also transformed into Bridges
Bookstore. Just like the V-Mall Greenhills branch, Bridges Bookstore is an ideal venue to further
one's intellectual pursuits through activities such as engaging book launches & discussions, monthly
forums & friendly debates concerning fiery issues of the day or simply a welcome exchange of ideas
among preeminent personalities in their own field. All these set in an intimate and relaxed bookstore
environment.
Bridges Bookstore is more than just a bookstore. It has modern day-care centers in
both its Ayala Center - Makati and V-Mall, Greenhill Branches. Providing more than the usual day-care
services, Star Kids Day Care International - Bridges Bookstore - Ayala Center offers tutorial services,
taekwondo lessons, arts and crafts workshops and other learning activities, particularly the Galileo
after-school enrichment program, in alliance with Sacred Heart School. Star Kids Day Care
International also has a studio where children's ballet, jazz for kids, line dancing and flamenco
classes for adults are offered.
Bridges Bookstores, bridging the enduring and the innovative, the classic and the contemporary, the intellectual interests and artistic endeavors of people together from different walks of life, truly "Building bridges of goodwill." |
