Or if you’re not sure which bookstore carries the specific title you’re looking for, and you don’t have time store-hopping all the outlets in town to look for what you need.

That’s the benefit of Goodwill’s virtual bookstore. With just a few clicks of the mouse, you can do your search-and-shop with your fingers. Whether it’s a single book or a variety of school and office needs, you can have your goods brought in the safety of your own home, and delivered right to your doorstep.

How do I buy a product?

Shopping online is easy. By using the simple and advance search functions, you can automatically determine whether Goodwill carries the product you’re looking for.

Use the Search function on the home page. Key in the name or title of the product or author, and you will be given a complete listing of merchandise being offered. Use Advance Search to narrow down your search to your specifications. You also have the option disable the images for each product to help the web page load faster.

From the results, choose your product and how much you want to buy. These will immediately be included in your shopping cart.

Update the shopping cart when you’re done and checkout. You will be prompted to register [Note: Link this to the registration page/MyGoodwill] if you are a new user. If you are a return customer, you only need to login [Note: Link this to Login function] your username and password.

What will happen to any personal information I give over the Internet?

By using our web site, you consent to the collection and use of your information by GoodwillBookstore.com. In any case, your information will be used solely for facilitating your accounts with us, and will not be turned over, under any circumstances, to third party entities without your express consent. When will I get my stuff and how do I pay for it?

Goods will be dispatched by courier within 24 hours if you are in Metro Manila, to a maximum of 3-4 days if you are located elsewhere in the country. Just remember that our daily cut-off period is at 4 p.m., local time, each day. Orders made after that time will be counted for the next day.

We accept payments via cash on delivery or postal money order in Philippine Peso currency. There is no limit on how many items you would like to have, though delivery or shipping charges will be billed to you.

You can also drop by the designated Goodwill outlet, pick up your order and pay for it there.

What happens if what I want to buy is not available?

When your online orders may not be available in any Goodwill Bookstore branch, you can make an Indent Order. An indent order is an order for books that are not found in the Goodwill inventory.

We will send you an e-mail advising you on the total cost, including the price of the product, courier charges and advisory on the delivery time and details. The total amount stated in this e-mail will be a tentative pricing and will be finalized once the book is received. You need, however, to make a 20% down payment based on the tentative pricing.

What if I change my mind about a product?

If you change your mind about your orders, send an e-mail concerning your query. You will be advised by GBS personnel for further actions.

What are your returns/ refunding policies?

We do not entertain refunds. We do, however, allow a customer to return the product in exchange for another one with similar value for the following reasons: when incorrect items are sent to you, when there are printing errors or loss of book pages, or when the item sent to you does not meet product specifications.
